I have got to get out of L.A.
Man I’m sick of the coast

Now Detroit is a place I could go
It’s a hell of a town
In Des Moines I could save up a lotta dough
And turn my life around

Maybe Pittsburgh, maybe Newark
Maybe Flint or Dubuque
Maybe Reno or Toledo
Maybe up in Duluth

This is a fool’s kinda game
Makin’ me laugh at myself
Thinkin’ that I’m gonna change
Just by bein’ somewhere else

Right here, there is nowhere better
