The nine-member professional “Paco Band” from Boston is thrilled to release five brand-new original Christmas songs this 2023 Holiday Season through AirPlayDirect. We simply love the Christmas Season and in playing shows for our fan base and wanted to provide them with a few “gifts” this year to help get them in The Spirit. Thus, the five originals which comprise our “Spirit of Christmas” release are primarily the creative effort of our superb lead Trumpet and magnificent song writer Chris Dorsey. We recorded these songs recently in Worcester, MA in Jan Schwartz wonderful studio…who is also our band’s Bass player. “Paco’s Oldies Vol 4” is my tenth CD Album to be released through Bristol Recording Studios of Boston, MA. When I retired twelve years ago as CEO of Northland Residential Corporation, I literally had no idea that my “retirement” would eventually morph into a second full-time career. I only knew that I wished to “follow my heart” with active commitment and passion into the challenging world of music, singing and the overall entertainment industry. Thus, ten years later here I stand fully and completely blessed in life, with ten internationally released Cd’s, with a seven-member “Paco Band” comprised primarily of young musical phenoms from Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music and as also signed with the incredible Strega Entertainment of Boston, Nashville, LA & Las Vegas. I mean in all sincerity “are you kidding me”? None of this would have come close to happening without the full support and encouragement of my life partner of fifty-two years - Margie. She has endured my “craziness”, along with the ongoing financial burdens of “my dreams” with a love that surpasses even my understanding. Along with our three fantastic children and five incredible grandchildren, and with God’s ever-guiding hands, they are the sole reason for my continued success and I thus dedicate this album to them all with much love and thanks. ~ PACO

Although The Paco Band routinely performs all sorts of music, from Pop, and Rock to Christmas Classics and even “originals”, our true niche in the world of entertaining is in performing 50’s, 60’s and 70’s “Oldies”. It is what we are best known for and what our loyal fans expect. Therefore, our first live band Album was destined to focus solely on those wonderful Oldies that tug at our memory strings and go right into our proverbial heart and soul.

Did you know that many articles have been written confirming that our brains actually prefer to hear music from our youth – and that those familiar sounds literally provide us with that wonderful “Cerebral Comfort Food”. Thus…from our own version of “Rock Around The Clock” that sets the albums stage, to songs by Dion, Neil Sedaka, Paul Anka, Bobby Darin, Elvis, Ritchie Valens, Frankie Valli and many more, we invite you too to listen and take in all of that “Comfort Food”. ~ PACO

My dream is becoming a reality thanks to my wonderful supporting family and friends, but also in great part thanks to those in the industry who support and believe in me.

This 8th album would not have been possible without the collective efforts, warmth and love of Ric Poulin and Chris Billias from Bristol Recording Studios in Boston; and from Peggy Iafrate & Jamie Ramsey at Strega Entertainment Group, along with the entire Strega team.

Many folks have urged me over the past few years to record an album of my original songs. The 12 songs in “Captivated” were only made possible through my collaborative efforts with nine very special people in my world of music. From Chris Billias, a truly superb engineer, producer and pianist; to Robert Knapp, my cousin Philip Marston, Ric Poulin, Robert Weingartz, T-Max, Louise van Aarsen and Gary Pihl who all graciously allowed me to use their combined original song lyrics and/or melodies in recording my own original versions. Also, to my ultra-talented duet partner Lauren O’keefe and once again to my dear cousin Phil Marston, good friend Gary Pihl, and wonderful producer Chris Billias who respectively contributed live background percussion, guitar and keyboard instrumentals. Simply put, Christmas is absolutely one of my very favorite times of the year. From hanging the decorations both inside and outside the house, to the smell of the tree combined with a turkey roasting in the oven, I love it all; and especially while watching the spontaneous joy of kids opening gifts and in experiencing once again the gentle warmth of the Christmas Eve Candlelight service at church. I dedicate this second Paco Christmas Album to all of those Stewarts and Marstons (my extended family) who helped fill me every year with pure and unadulterated “childhood joy” at Christmas time. The Theme of the Album “For Always” is songs about Love – yes love, in all of its many challenging forms. From the haunting lyrics and melodies created by Andrew Lloyd Webber with songs such as “Music of the Night” from Phantom, to uplifting duets and then to old standards like Buddy Holly’s “True Love Ways”, I share many of the songs that dwell not just in my heart but deep in my soul as well. I am indebted to two highly gifted singers, Michelle Hylan and Lauren O’Keefe for sharing their vocal talent to four incredible duets. The lead song in fact, which is also the name for this Album “For Always”, is a terrific duet from the movie “A.I” (for Artificial Intelligence) as originally sung for the movie score by Josh Groban and Lara Fabian. The song sets the mode for the entire album as it speaks to the incredible power of love, which can span the galaxies and which literally lasts “For Always”.

PACO BIOGRAPHY

To suggest that Paco has thus far led an interesting and colorful life is an understatement. After a 37-year Real Estate Career as a CEO, at age 64 he changed direction completely, to pursue a lifelong dream of singing, acting and entertaining. In sharing his dreams with others, his goal is to simply help them find more joy, peace and meaning in their own lives through music and the visual arts.

To date Paco has recorded well over 125 songs and released four full-length CD’s, including his newest Album “For Always” on January 12, 2015. He has now trained and studied professionally to refine his voice, dance, acting and modeling talents and recently enjoyed acting in his first TV and independent film productions, in addition to commercial ads and voice-over stints.

Paco is affiliated with both Bristol Recording Studios & Entertainment in Boston, where he produces his music and with John Robert Powers Agency (JRP New England) in pursuing his modeling and acting career. This February he heads out across America for three months, literally taking his new “For Always” CD & show on the road from Atlanta to New Orleans to LA.
