Some may ask , “Who are the Wacaster Family?”

And they would answer

“A Family with a Heart for Ministry and Music”.

Darren, Hope and Matthew are just that family. They travel extensively all over the country spreading the Good News about their Savior Jesus Christ through song and testimony with a down home touch. They are a multi-talented Award Winning Nashville Recording family with many years of on the job training and have had the privilege to share the stage with such great artist as Del Way, Melanie Walker, The Fox Brothers, Tommy Brandt, Jack Greene and many others. Their music has a life changing message with a upbeat sound and has reached into the top 20’s on many Christian Country Charts.

Darren who is both father and husband, is also an Ordained Minister. Knowing Himself, what its like
not only live in the world but also knows how it is to become entangled in the sins of it. Since coming out of a broken home life, and experimenting with drugs, and alcohol at an early age, Darren has realized that Christ is the only way He can make it in this world, and plans to tell others how they can too.

Darren’s vocal sound has been compared to Randy Travis, Aaron Tippin, Alan Jackson and even the possum himself George Jones.

Darren is a singer, songwriter, musician and cousin to the Legendary Bill Anderson and Gene Autry.

Hope, who is both wife and mom is also an Ordained Minister who was raised on the stage, and has been performing since age 3. Being a preachers kid she has logged many hours of knowing what it feels like to be under the microscope of the world. Her father who was a Church of God Pastor out of
Cleveland TN. for 38 years, left her with a legacy of ministry experience before going home to be with the Lord in 1999. Hope is both Pianist and singer with a vocal range out of this world. With both perfect harmony and a strong lead you can’t get any better in a female artist.


Matthew, ''What can I say''? ''Words can’t describe''. You have to see him,
to get the full effect of what God has created in this child, who is soon to be Seventeen.
If words could describe, ''phenomenal'' would have to be one of them.

Matthew is an Award Winning Nashville Recording Artist and at a young age has already captured the hearts of many people young and old .

He has a vocal ability and stage presence that has been compared to Elvis, and Michael Jackson all wrapped up in one.

He is truly a inspiration to his generation He says.. “He wants to let other kids and young adults know that with Christ in your life you can experience your wildest dreams and have fun doing it”.

Matthew has sang for the 62nd Chaplain of the United States Senate Barry C. Black . Who said... “ Matthew’s Talent would outreach the walls of these United States”.He has also appeared on CMT Loaded as
2007 Young Artist of the Year for Christian Country. He just recently was awarded ICM's 2009 Young Artist of The Year for Christian Country.He has also won 2008 Agape Fest Young Artist and 2007 Rising Star Award out of Texas. He is an active member of his community theater where his has shined for many with his stage presence and dancing ability and charismatic personality.

Kurt L. Moore writes (Matthew has a real future ahead of him. He reminded me of Joe Tinoco, who operates a show in Branson, Missouri, has Tinoco Productions and has made movies with Dolly Parton. Well, anyway, Joe started his career at about the age Matthew is now and went on to become extremely successful. Also, Matthew looks a bit like Joe.
