The trees in the stand, the family gathers round,
To continue a tradition that's been handed down.
For this time each year we would sing Christmas songs,
As we decorate the tree with love.

Down from the attic are boxes piled high,
Filled with tinsel, ornaments, and bright Christmas lights.
We'll hang them all and save that star for the top,

That helps to remind us what Christmas really means.
