The Reno Swing Set of Reno NV has been together since 2016 playing Gypsy Swing, Jazz, Bluegrass and Celtic Acoustic Music including originals in their own unique style.

In just a few short years, The Reno Swing Set has delighted audiences at many venues in the West including: Millpond Music Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, Susanville Bluegrass Festival, Bower's Mansion Bluegrass Festival, The Henry Hawkins Theater, Artown Reno, Carson City Jazz and Art Festival as well as numerous other smaller venues.

Crossing The Truckee is The Reno Swing Set's first recording, recorded in early 2020 featuring an original tune as the title track. The recording was done 'live' and includes two originals, a few Gypsy Jazz tunes, a Tony Rice tune, tunes by David Grisman, John Carlini and Bob Dylan as well. All of the compositions are performed in their unique style.

Individually the RSS members have spent decades playing and performing acoustic music. The Reno Swing Set members include: Bill McKean-guitar/vocals; Michael Madan-Mandolin/vocals; Jon Anderson- Sax, flute, pennywhistle/vocals; and Linda Madan on Acoustic Upright Bass.
