This song came to me first as a storyline; that gorgeous girl who is sick of all the phony guys telling her exactly what she wants to hear, and then one day a “Regular Joe” walks in. He is honest and true to himself, and because of it he ends up winning the girl's heart. The band and I came together and had fun creating a sound for this song taking inspiration from old school rock and roll, pushing it along with a driving beat, straightforward guitar work, and lively piano. The video came about because we wanted a way to introduce the audience to who we Iveys are, to get to see us in our creative element out here in the desert southwest. It’s a fun song that allows you to escape into another world for a few minutes, so turn it up and sing along!
