Stop At The Nearest Mall
At Christmas time what I love best,
Is putting on my fancy dress,
High heels on and looking fine,
Because I know that it’s shopping time,

Shop until we drop,
Shop until we drop

I grab my purse and check it out,
I never balance my bank account,
I figure if there’s no money
They would send new checks to me,

Outside my door, into my car,
It doesn’t matter how near or far,
I’ll have my friends drive, better still,
I just can’t think, it’s such a thrill,

To stop at the nearest mall,
I’m going to charge it all,
Stop at the nearest mall,
Start shopping in the fall,
My limit’s over, don’t think it over,
Shop until we drop,

I want to hear cash registers ring,
I seem to keep on finding things,
I go to buy for others you see,
But end up buying more stuff for me,
Watching salesmen falling down,
There exhausted from running around,
On their knees and starting to plead,
Please stop shopping in turbo speed,

Stop at the nearest mall,
I’m going to charge it all,
Stop at the nearest mall,
Start shopping in the fall,
My limit’s over, don’t think it over,
Shop until we drop,

I’ve got to shop until I drop,
I’m just warmed up I’m getting hot,
I can’t wait to spend more dough,
How I’m going to pay for it heaven knows,
If there’s a will, well there’s a way,
I’ll think about it. Some other day,

Stop at the nearest mall,
I’m going to charge it all,
Stop at the nearest mall,
Start shopping in the fall,
My limit’s over, don’t think it over,
My limit’s over, don’t think it over,

And now the day is getting close,
That special day I like the most,
And Christmas day for me seems pale,
I worship; at day after sales.
