Mother Nature's Show
MOTHER NATURE’S SHOW
by Adam Greuel

Jackknifing down to Arkansas
Drunk on that full moon
Searching for a river
To drown my wild like a loon

Ozarks burning up the brakes
And I’m a little burnt too
Searching for a river
That’s not more than I can chew

Oh whoaaaaa
It’s slow and steady
Gotta find the current
When the road gets a little heavy
I’ll jump off the pavement
And into the river flow
Front row to mother nature’s show

Found my way on down to Cotter
Before I lost my pin
My mind shot free and whispered words
That made my spirit spin

So I cast a fly on the by and by
And take flight like a bug
Searching for a river
And a little brown trout love

Oh whoaaaaa
It’s slow and steady
Gotta find the current
When the road gets a little heavy
I’ll jump off the pavement
And into the river flow
Front row to mother nature’s show

I suppose we’re all lonely
When we isolate ourselves
When we’re searching for a river
So we can worry less

But alas just like the water
You can’t use a clenched fist
When you’re searching for a river
And mother nature’s kiss

Oh whoaaaaa
It’s slow and steady
Gotta find the current
When the road gets a little heavy
I’ll jump off the pavement
And into the river flow
Front row to mother nature’s show
