Biography
Seven years. Four albums. Twelve states. Two international tours. Four siblings. The Burie Family is a powerful young group hailing from southeastern Wisconsin, driven to perform by their love of music and desire to share it with all who will listen. Rooted in tradition and branching out into the contemporary, the group brings a fresh new sound to the bluegrass genre with their upbeat and engaging material.
Over the last few years the siblings have received several nods from the bluegrass community: including a WAMI Christian/Gospel Artist of the Year award in 2012, consecutive 4th and 3rd place wins at the KSMU National Youth in Bluegrass Band Competition in Branson, MO, and being selected to perform at the 2014 International Bluegrass Music Association's annual convention in Raleigh, NC.
Equally at home playing to a few or hundreds, they see each musical experience as an opportunity to leave their audiences with smiles on their faces using their God-given gifts.
