Flor de Nochebuena
Written by Chrissie Natoli 2014

Chrissie always buys poinsettias during the holidays to decorate the house (and she always manages to kill them before the next holiday season comes around!) Never having achieved her goal of getting a poinsettia plant to bloom again the following year, she began to wonder why these plants bloomed in December, anyway. She started to do some research and discovered this beautiful story about the faith of a child and a Christmas miracle in Mexico. she couldn't help but write this song!

Guitars: Jimmy Joe and Chrissie Natoli

Photo on back cover of album is El Templo de la Cruz in Querétero, Guanajuato, Mexico, taken by Chrissie Natoli. The location of the legend is not known, but Chrissie's love of the Mexican culture led her to want to include a photo from her travels, and this church was beautiful with a clear bell tower.
