The 23rd of June
This is an Allister MacGillivray arrangement of an old Irish tune about the weavers’ holiday, the 23rd of June. We first heard the song from our late, great friend Tommy Makem, who recorded it with The Clancy Brothers in a Chicago folk-club in 1962.
