That One Last Rose is a hardcore classic honky-tonk paean to love and loss and burning the candle at both ends. It features some of the greatest musicians in the world: Byron Berline, who played with Bill Monroe, The Rolling Stones, Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan, Vince Gill to name a few; and Dan Dugmore, 20-year veteran of Linda Ronstadt's and James Taylor's great bands (that's him on the solo on Blue Bayou). For all those who mourn how quickly the roses fade.

Mix 2 is different from the first mix of this song in that, in tribute to the late Byron Berline, it includes every single note that he played.
