Take Me Home
This place where I live, I call my home, down an ole country road, where the people know your name, and where you can be found, that’s where I belong, The mountains and the streams, are living in my dreams, were the wild apples grow, were they grow, where they grow, down my country road.
I work real hard, to make my pay, in the city streets below, where the lights shine bright, through the day and night, I got to get away, When that train whistle blows, at the end of the day, it takes me to my home, take me home, take me home, to my country road.
When the stars shine bright, in a moon light night, it takes my breath away. When the warm summer breeze, blows through those apple trees, it takes me away, take me away, take me today, to my country road.
