Todd hails from the great American mid-west state of Indiana.
Todd's goal every night as he walks on stage is for everyone to leave saying "that was the best show I've ever seen." That's exactly what we hear! His drive, along with his dynamic voice and excellent showmanship have gained him much success in his 12 years of performing professionally.
He is so versatile, his show can be country, rock 'n' roll, and much more. This versatility has lead him to perform as the opening act for such rock 'n' roll legends as: Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, The Four Tops, The Platters, Leslie Gore, Danny and the Juniors, Freddie "Boom Boom" Cannon, Diamond Dave Somerville, and The Beach Boys. He recently worked with B.J. Thomas and The Drifters! Opening for Foreigner twice was awesome too, as Todd got to do some classic rock!
On the country realm Todd has worked with such artists as: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Ricochet, Bill Anderson, Gene Watson, John Conlee, Jeannie Seely, Janie Fricke, Ricky Van Shelton, Andy Griggs, George "Goober" Lindsey, John Michael Montgomery, Lynn Anderson, The Warren Brothers, Diamond Rio, Neil McCoy and Buddy Jewell. Most recently he added Chad Brock, Daryl Singletary, David Kersh, Rhett Akins, Trick Pony and Gretchen Wilson to his list as he performed at the Indian Summer Festival in Panama City Beach, FL.
Still on the country scene, Todd was a part of Legendsfest at Buck Lake Ranch in Angola, IN. He opened for such Grand Ole Opry legends as: "Little" Jimmy Dickens, Kitty Wells, Charlie Louvin, Jack Greene, Bobby and Johnny Wright, Jeanne Pruett, and Stonewall Jackson. The show's M.C. was Ralph Emery. On this day, Todd along with all these legends, was inducted into the Buck Lake Ranch Hall of Fame.
Todd was invited to perform at the Silverton Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. He also performed at the Golden Nugget in Laughlin, NV. That same year Todd and the Band had some fun recording at legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, TN. He has also recorded a 10-song country CD in Nashville, TN.
Todd was asked to be the entertainment in the Tropical Garden Theatre at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach, FL. He has performed there for 10 successful seasons! He and the FTD Band have recorded two live CD’s from there.
In 2005 Todd was named “Rotarian of the Year!” He is a member of the Rotary Club of Panama City Beach, FL. Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,00 Rotary clubs located in 167 countries. Todd is so very honored to achieve this award for his “Service Above Self,” which is their motto. He tries to use his talent in very positive ways.
In 2008 Todd hosted his own television show, The Todd Allen Variety Show.
Yet another fantastic venue has asked Todd to bring his show there. They were invited to bring their show to The Breakers in Panama City Beach, FL. This Las Vegas style dinner/show room has been a premier dining and entertainment venue for over 20 years. Todd and his band are so energized and excited to continue performing there in the Winter Seasons.
The summer of 2011 they bring their show back to Gulf World Marine Park for their 10th Season and also return for the second summer to Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, FL who has hired them to be their show exclusively for resort guests!
Also in 2011 Todd was pleased to become a Straight Arrow Music Recording Artist and is releasing the single “My Name Is America.” Todd has performed this song written by Kurt Orning, for over 10 years, but it is just now getting the attention it deserves! Funny how things happen at just the right time. As anyone who has seen him perform knows, Todd has always had an utmost respect for our military and considers anyone serving or who has served, true heroes! He has been a member of the Sons of The American Legion for 15 years. He and his band have always been and always will be, proud Americans.
Todd's ability to entertain people shines in no matter what he does. His strive for excellence in his performances has made him one of the hardest working and most exciting entertainers in the world!
