Biography
Born and based in Paris, T-ka (out of the Indian Tikka symbol she is wearing on her forehead) starts to compose in 2000 pop melodies that she accompanies with her soulful voice. In English that she speaks fluently. She starts to play her songs solo accompanying herself with a keyboard in Lille, Paris, Seoul and New-York.

In 2004, she opens for Maceo Parker in Paris. She then finds musicians to accompany her on stage. With them, she self-produces a 10-tracks studio album in June 2006.

She wins Nouv’elles 2007 bands contest in 2007 and opens for Tower of Power, Malia and Robin Thicke. She also plays in great festivals: Enghien Jazz Festival, Solidays, Muzik’elles and also in London and Amsterdam.

Thanks to www.sellaband.com website which allows artists to find investors to produce their album, she gathers $50000 on November 5, 2007 thanks to 684 investors from all over the world. Her first album was recorded and mixed on March/April 2008 at Radio Star Studios in California by Sylvia Massy and her team. The album was released on July 14, 2008 exclusively on Sellaband before its digital release through The Orchard worldwide. T-ka is looking for licence or distribution deals all over the world (except UK, Germany & Benelux) for a physical release.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
