Biography
Susan Anderson Bell grew up in Oklahoma and Central Texas on twin fiddles and steel guitars. With her father being a country music radio announcer, country music was not only a way of life but became part of Susan’s heart and soul. She began performing at the age of 14, with her first public appearance at a DeLeon, Texas tractor pull. In 1980, Susan recorded “Giving Up Easy” on B & B Records. “Giving Up Easy” was chosen as Billboard magazines “Pick of the Week” and rose to chart position 42 in the Cashbox Country Charts. At the age of 15 she began working at a local country music radio station behind the air waves. Susan has been involved in country radio ever since, evolving into on-air and music programming. After a twenty year break from performing live, Susan and her father decided to record one more “just for fun”. This CD is the result. With some of the finest musicians in country music, this project became a project of the heart.
