Too Much of a Good Thing
Too Much of a Good Thing (Tony Arata) Randy: “Tony Arata wrote ‘I Hope You Dance’ for Garth Brooks. Don Rigsby brought it to the band.” Bo is the lead singer and John the harmony man. John makes good use of his fifth fiddle string, taking it down into the viola range. He also plays mandolin, with a tip of the pick to Jimmy Gaudreau. Jack gets in some of those banjo licks heard in ‘70s country, country rock, TV soundtracks, and commercials.
