This song is a tribute to veterans and also has a Gospel message in one verse. The idea for song sprang from our association with our sponsor, The Price of Freedom Museum.

Our live performance of the song is very unique in that we lead off with Madison playing the drum cadence with thimbles on her fingers on the banjo head as Jeff holds it horizontal.

The audience gets to participate when a call to action in the final verse which asks those in attendance to stand in honor of the bravery of our veterans.

To bring forth to the Patriotic Theme, the song is in Standard Military March time, 120 BMP

We have performed this song many times and have been honored to have many veterans come up afterwards and tell of their experiences.
