Biography
STEVE MORANO is a talented singer songwriter who plays with his band STEVE MORANO AND THE RENEGADES (Ross Nelson- bass, Mark Acres-drums, Mac - Guitar) He also plays solo and with other local guest musicians, including talented guitarist Pete Redding. He has perfromed all over England with his band and has also performed some solo gigs in Ireland, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. He has made regular appearances at a number of festivals including a stint of appearances on one of the main stages at Guildford Festival. GuilFest 2007 was a particular highlight where the band appeared as an 8 piece with a saxophinist, celloist and violinist. The performance was greatly received and the band sold out of CDs and T-shirts in minutes flat.

In terms of releases, the band have an EP out called, 'Believe' and which notched up sales of over 1000 copies in the first 12 months of its release. The EP sold out for both Guilfest 06 and 07 as demand for the CDs was tremendous. Like Hard-Fi, 'Believe' was recorded at the band's HQ @ Groutfinger records which is mainly geared up for acoustic musicians but has been adapted to record the band as live as possible. The band went one further with their next release and made a full album entitled DEVIL IS A BULLET which available to buy both online and at Steve's performances. Tracks are also available on iTunes.

Steve has had many of his tracks played on a number of independent Radio stations including Radio Caroline. He has peformed live several times on BBC Radio Berkshire and Radio Fremantle. In Perth Australia he performed "Raining Over India", played on Australia's Triple J Radio.

Steve Morano travelled and toured Australia forming a Perth based Anglo / American / Australian band called ‘Hank’, and gained funding for a 7 days recording at Planet Studios to release the ‘Hank’ CD entitled ‘Glasses’. Was in the very same Studio while HANK MARVIN from THE SHADOWS were recording a acoustic album, and Steve got to meet him.
