God's Guiding Light

Little children don’t always know how to pray
Their questions reveal they’re unsure
They learn as they grow to put faith in God
And miracles there are no words for

A husband and father working so hard
To be the best man he can be
Forgets to remember he’s not on his own
and pray for strength down on his knees

Jesus is right here beside you and me

A smile on his wrinkled face
Forgetting the hard times he has been through
