"Jamie Boggs" is a country back-beat story about a high school janitor who was respected, went unnoticed generally, and then suddenly left town. The joyful undertone adds to the mystery of his leaving and even has dancing flute solo by ... Mardel Chowen. Are we celebrating his getting away from it all, his escape? I think so. But the town folks and school are left out not knowing why he left. The voice and beat and flute carry this out. That ends, an you get a breakdown with just percussion, "Livin' off the grid was what he did," and we are celebrating Boggs with a host of percussion instruments pulsing, dancing, and celebrating. Glover is an inventive writer..." -- Chris Lunn
