By the blood of God's own Son the victory over sin is won
Praise and honor be forever to the King

By the signs we see we know it can't be long
Until the Lord returns to take his children home
In the twinkling of an eye to this old world we'll say goodbye
And join in the celebration around the throne

When at last I get to heaven some sweet day
And God himself shall wipe my tear drops all away
No more pain and fear to bother safe at home with the Heavenly Father
In his loving arms forever I shall stay
