The City's About To Fall
The council and the mayor assembled to complain
All the citizens money hopped the last freight train
Wall Streets all in a fury while the Amish are plowing their fields
and reminding us all that the city's about to fall

You can call it what you wanna. To me it's all the same
Cause i been to the carnival and i know how they rig each game
The army says duty and honor
Gandhi said "simply live".
Let's call it a drawl cause the cities about to fall

In the desert it's storming. catch the news at ten.
Commands come from towers of ivory
while tears come from houses of tin
but the bigger your buildings are the harder their gonna fall
the horse is dead in the stall and the cities about to fall.

Can you read the writing; the writing on the wall?
and can you interpret the meaning of it all?
everybody head over to Jerusalem
bring your own prayer books and beer
And we'll lean on the wall cause the cities about to fall
