“I heard some lines of this song from David Coriell, an amazing writer from Ohio, and he mentioned it was not finished and asked if I was interested in helping him finish it. Of course, the song grabbed me with the first line of the chorus because I, like many, have experienced “leaving on a melody”. I loved the bridge idea we came up with about getting out of our own head for a while and letting our instrument take us on a journey, and of course, all of the guys played and sang awesome!!
