Biography

Authentic is the word most often used to describe Sara Syms. An artist willing to be intimate and vulnerable with her fans. Before leaving her home in Chicago for NYC, early resume included international figure skating competitions, performing in a world-renowned children's choir, copious hours practicing the piano and fiddle and touring the states in various bands until her life experiences led her to the realization that what she really wanted to do was write, record and perform her own music. Debut album Fade to Blue was nominated for IMEA's Americana Album of the Year and solidified her place on the scene. Now residing in Nashville, she is gearing up for sophomore release, Way Back Home (Fall 2015).
