Crickets

I'm waiting; here I'm waiting at the dock
I'm waiting, tick tock tick tock tick tock
I'm listening to hear the sound of your foot steps on the ground
But I hear crickets.

I tried to call you. I left message at the tone.
Again I called you, but some guy said you'd gone home
I tried to sit back patiently and wait for you to call
But I hear crickets.

I sent an email because you didn't return my call
It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard a thing at all
I keep logging on and logging off and checkin' my inbox
But there's more crickets.
