Biography

Ryco Saints are a 4-piece alternative rock band who are rapidly establishing themselves on the London live music scene.
Ryco Saints formed in January 2008 and draw their influence from bands such as Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, My Vitriol, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age and Hundred Reasons. They have recently headlined shows at well known London venues such as The Dublin Castle, The Bull and Gate and the Monto Water Rats.

Phil and Marius previously fronted Northampton based band Aunt Stella, supporting Biffy Clyro and receiving Radio One airplay. Simon previously played bass for Extinguish Her (Manchester) and Pelt (Liverpool), whereas Ty was the drummer for London based band A Personal Victory.

Ryco Saints were formed out of a shared passion for high energy yet melodic rock, and a mutual loathing of half-hearted performance, lazy musicianship and poorly produced indie music.

In October 2008 Ryco Saints entered the studio for the first time together which resulted in their self titled debut EP. The EP features 4 of the band’s most popular live tracks and has been well received by fans and promoters alike.
