Old Man Winter
Writer: Jerry Cole

Frosty morning, white covered ground
As I try and clear the sleep from my eyes
Without warning, the dew fell from the sky
And it's colder than the day she said goodbye.

Old man winter, can't you find the time
Help me make a new start
I know you don't owe me, but please before we part
Would you do this man a favor, and thaw her frozen heart.

Today's paper front page news
The coldest day it's been in 30 years
Sooner or later, I can't pick nor choose
Maybe her cold heart won't will by eye with tear
