Biography
But Wait, There’s More!" is the second collaboration between singer Rick Reed and guitarist Rocket Ritchotte. The first, titled "Finally…" (by Reed-Ritchotte), was released in October of 2012. The new EP contains four, hard-rock edged tracks originally written and recorded during the period of seemingly endless Southern California club gigs in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

As with "Finally…", "But Wait, There’s More!" features session and hired-gun guitarist Rocket Ritchotte (John Kay and Steppenwolf, David Lee Roth, Lou Graham), his son Kane Ritchotte on drums (Portugal The Man, Duk, Bad Things, The Ceremonies) and special guest Tony Franklin on bass (The Firm, Blue Murder, Kenny Wayne Shepard). Also contributing to the record were Wally Minko, gluing together "Radio Song" with his Hammond B3, and singer-songwriter Briagha McTavish, providing lovely backing vocals on the EP’s closing track, "What Are We Here For".

"But Wait, There’s More!" contains fantastic solo and slide work by Rocket, flawless fretless bass playing from Tony, the dynamic and powerful drumming of Rocket's son Kane, all of course, providing the perfect backing for the whiskey-soaked, miles-traveled voice of Rick Reed. From the high energy opener "All Your Love", through the pounding and hypnotic rhythms of "Backstabber" and "Radio Song", and the acoustic journey that is "What Are We Here For", "But Wait, There’s More!" provides a reminder of what music used to be like, and why we liked it.
