Bus Stop Miracle

She was sittin' there all alone on the bench at the bus stop
And she looked like she'd been cryin' for a while
She was starin' across the street at the place she was supposed to be
But all she could was just sit there and cry

An old woman stepped off the bus and said honey are you all right
You know life has it's ups and downs but God is own your side
I'll just sit here beside you and rest for a while for a while
And if you need to talk Im here for you my child

They just sat there for a long time then the old woman softly said
I can see you've been starin' at that place across the street
You've been told the choice is yours and only yours to make
But let me tell you why it's no accident we met today

This morning while I was prayin' I eard a voice speak to me
Today a child needs savin' somewhere out on the street
I said I don't know just where this child will be
So I'll just ride on the bus and wait for you to see

Soon the old woman and the youg girl held hands as they both cried
'Cause they knew this was the answer this was the sign
They got on the next bus together still holdin' hands and tradin' smiles
The had both stopped to listen to that still small voice inside

I'll just sit here beside you and rest for a while
And if you need to talk I'm here for you my child
