The Music

“Look and Live” is the lead-off single from Richard’s long-awaited upcoming CD, “Jazz in the Spirit.” It is contemporary vocal jazz adaptation of the classic hymn, “Look and Live,” originally penned in 1887 by William A. Ogden. The recording features Richard on lead saxophone as well as acoustic piano and keyboards, with a lush, Manhattan Transfer-style vocal arrangement featuring a 13-voice ensemble, featuring some of the most sought after vocalists and instrumentalists in New York City.
