ABOUT THIS SONG
A set of three very different tunes. "The Second Bestowance" is a Scandinavian-style tune I wrote while taking lessons with Canadian fiddler Qristina Bachand. She jokingly talked about bestowing tunes upon me—and I know a good tune title when I hear one!" It is followed by a gypsy jazz tune. Since I’m not much of a jazz lover, “Flying Pigs” seemed like a good title for the tune. The groovy "Ninja Moon Tune" is the result of one of those car conversations during the long drive home after a gig...
Joram: “Look at that moon, it’s huge!”
Arthur: “Where?”
Joram: “It just went behind a tree. Oh, wait, there it is!”
Arthur: “Where?”
Joram: “Ah, it’s gone again. It’s like a ninja moon!”
