These multi colored fragments
Of this thins I call my life
Are ever changing, rearranging
Up down left and right
Just when I get settled in one single point of view
My red turns into yellow
And my green turns into blue
Maybe it’s a function of my youth
But either way I gotta find some truth
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I never know
Which way life is gonna point me
Make me happy, disappoint me
Oh Oh Oh
But still I hope
That one day I will se
What I’m supposed to do and be
But till then my life’s a complicated glow
Through this kaleidoscope
I fell in love fore real
In my senior year in school
When I went off to college
He said baby we’ll be cool
I came home for Christmas with my books and open arms
One look I knew that he wan gonna break my loving heart
MAybe it’s a function of his youth
But either way I gotta face the truth
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I never know
Which way life is gonna point me
Make me happy, disappoint me
Oh Oh Oh
But still I hope
That one day I will se
What I’m supposed to do and be
But till then my life’s a complicated glow
Through this kaleidoscope
I’ll figure it out
Most people do
But what I gotta do now
Is enjoy the view
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I never know
Which way life is gonna point me
Make me happy, disappoint me
Oh Oh Oh
But still I hope
That one day I will se
What I’m supposed to do and be
But till then my life’s a complicated glow
Through this kaleidoscope
