Simulating a nightmare, he describes seeing an endless line of broken people waiting to
enter the Gates of Hell: “the deluded, the polluted, the man who told children lies.” A
deliberate strong beat of drums, clever keyboard moves, whining guitar licks and gravelly
vocals drive the message home. This well-composed song sheds light on a difficult
subject.
