Man From Galilee

I was reading in the Bible, About a man I didn’t know
They called his Jesus, He came to save our souls

He could heal the lame, Make a blind man see
Walk across the water, Calm the raging sea

This man that came from Galilee,
He was sent to this world to set it free
I kept asking the word how could this be,
That I owe my soul to a man from Galilee

I was reading what they done, I was up till 2am
Eyes where about to close, Sleep was setting in

I wanted one more page, To see how it would end
If his life was over, Or would someone rescue him

Saw it in my dream, He was hanging there
Nailed to a cross, All sins to bare

They pierced him in the side, Just so they could see
If they killed the man, The man from Galilee

They put a crown of thorns upon his head
He ask father forgive them for what they did
They mocked they scorned him and denied
As they watched the son Of god be crucified
