It’s been brought to my attention that the intro to Wake Up Crying is very similar to My Generation. That’s probably because it is the intro to My Generation. Like Grant through Richmond, I went through the ’60s grabbing every idea that wasn’t nailed down. It can be considered a tribute to the golden era of pop… or shameless plundering. Whatever. The music works great with the beatnik lyrics. That’s Bill Lloyd on background vox and Richard Bennett on guitar tipping his hat to everyones favourites The Monkees. Ralph and I both get to do solos on this one. Go us!<br />
