You’re not gonna like the story,
You’re not gonna like the news,
There’s big trouble down on Wall Street,
And down in DC too.

It’s been happening for years,
This ain’t really nothin’ new,
But with all the shenanigans lately,
That bill has finally come due.

Now who is it my friend,
Who’s gonna pick up the tab, well
it’s gotta to be you and it’s gotta be me,
This is startin’ to look bad.

Robin Hood, where are you now?
Robin Hood, where are you now?

Now, everyone in the media,
Says we’ve got to act fast,
We gotta pony up that money,
And save the country’s uh back,

They say it’s gonna take billions,
Well that’s the forecast,
The next day it’s up to trillions,
Man that’s a lot of cash.

Robin Hood, where are you now?
Robin Hood, where are you now?

Now we’re lookin’ for the spirit of Robin,
To help us through this mess,
Not to rob and steal but to fight,
Those who would steal from us.

Well we’ve got to look inside ourselves,
I mean each and all of us,
And demand accountability,
From those we hold in trust.

Now there’s a good man down in Washington,
Working hard to set things straight,
If we give him a chance,
Pitch in and help, we won’t have to wait for,

Robin Hood, where are you now?
Robin Hood, where are you now?

Robin Hood, where are you now?
Robin Hood, where are you now?

Robin Hood,
You’re here right now, you’ve got to step up to the plate,
Where are you now?
It’s the Robin in me it’s the Robin in you, ya gotta act before it’s too late,

Robin Hood,
You’re here right now, you’ve got to step up to the plate,
Where are you now?
There’s a Robin in me there’s a Robin in you,
wake up before it’s too late,
