Biography
The Phelps Sisters are committed....to their Savior and His church, their families, and their Southern Illinois community. They are also dedicated healthcare professionals. Brooke and Gretchen are physician assistants and Natalie, a nurse practitioner.
They grew up listening to and singing gospel songs with their father David, lead singer/songwriter for the Phelps Brothers. That love naturally led them to form their own vocal group. Their song tracks are an original mix of exciting southern, progressive and inspirational gospel songs, most written by their father, and uniquely enhanced by sibling "blood harmony" and Nashville's top musicians/arrangers/producers.
Ron Oates, legendary Nashville studio musician (piano), had this to say about their cd, "It will surprise you to know, this is the girls' first recording studio experience on a CD of their very own...and what a glorious product it is!...The girls' work ethic is amazing...they were focused, willing to learn, and truly dedicated to this task. I do not own the words to express how proud I am of the results of their intense efforts."
Gary Prim, Nashville studio keyboard musician, responded to hearing their cd, "I listed to the Phelps Sisters' CD over the weekend. I must say....the girls did a GREAT job on the harmonies..Those were not straight 1,4,5 triads, but they were singing all the chords the rhythm section was playing. I'm proud to have been a part!
