Biography

Paul Nagi’s musical journey began when he left New York City and found music. His music bridges the gap between British new wave and indie rock genres and delivers lyrics that are heartfelt and vividly succinct.

Since leaving New York, Paul has spent countless hours polishing his voice, solidifying his performance, and honing his songwriting skills. His full artistic maturation yielded a powerful word smith and melody maker with an gripping dark new wave sound.
After just one performance, Paul and his band, went from playing the Alterknit lounge at the Knitting Factory, to its main stage. Following this performance, they were invited to play the main stage at the Key Club.

Paul Nagi independently released his first three song EP, entitled, Auto Repair, which was released in December 2006. In March of 2009, Paul Nagi: Live In LA was released. Paul also took part in the Emergenza festival where he was pitted against the best unsigned acts in the nation and made it to the national finals. In February 2010 Paul began working with a small pr firm and has already received interest from international record labels.

Paul Nagi is nowhere near the zenith of his career and his music has already garnered him a 2010 LA Music Award Nomination and a place on Music Connections list of Top 100 Unsigned Bands and Artists.
