Release of 2020 album "Mind Wanderer"
The album is titled "Mind Wanderer" because I first started writing songs from stream of consciousness at a place called "The Dacha", a little shack on the French Broad River outside Knoxville, TN. Songs were also written in a small cabin in Paradise Valley Montana. Many hours were spent walking around the fields surrounding these two places, singing and refining the lyrics in my head. I worked out melodies on guitar and piano, and recorded scratch tracks to an old tape deck. Once a song had form I would go back and listen, pull out the good stuff and whittle down the excess. Some songs came to me in a flash, others have taken 2 years to fully understand and complete. The album tells the stories of many people I have met in my travels and others that I have only imagined.

"Mind Wanderer" is a new step for me. Jamie Cook and I started recoding in his basement during the Winter of 2018. Jamie has been a huge inspiration to me and I cannot thank him enough. During the process, we both started to think that we had something special. Not only were the beginning sessions amazingly enjoyable, but the songs started to take life. Now, a full year later, I am in Montana finishing the mixing and mastering and raising funds for the release and promotion of what will be my second full length album.

I've spent the last 2 years writing these songs while performing all over the country both solo and with some great musicians including Jamie Cook, Evie Andrus, Robert Richards, Vince Ilagan, Josh Oliver, Chris Zuhr, Ashton Williams, and more. I am indebted to them all for their time and effort. The album is a culmination of the work we have all done and the miles travelled. The songs were written in Knoxville, Tennessee and Livingston, Montana. These two towns have been very kind to me and my friends. I cannot thank you all enough for the heart, inspiration and support.
