{b]“There’s always one heart bleeding … there’s always someone cheating … there’s always one heart dreaming … there’s always one heart falling in love tonight.”

"One Heart" in the context of this continuing story, clearly shows the internal struggle that the woman feels seeing clearly the relationship that she now has, but also remembering the relationship that once was. She is no stranger to the emotions of love, hate, confusion and disappointment that seem to plague her every moment. Even while she holds her husband’s picture in her hands and looks at it with love and sadness, she wrestles with her emotions and lets the photo drop to the floor with the intent to shatter the glass. She feels that he is leaving even though “no words have been spoken,” yet she still holds the hope that for every heart that is bleeding, one is falling in love.

I know that you’re leaving
As sure as my heart’s beating
There’s nothing I can say
To stop this helpless feeling
Maybe I could be that someone you
have been dreaming of if I just knew
I would do whatever I could do

Chorus:
There's always one heart bleeding
There's always someone cheating
There's always somebody, somebody cryin’ all night
There’s always one heart dreaming
There’s always someone believing
There’s always one heart falling in love tonight

No words have been spoken
You avoid the conversation
I can’t keep believing
That I will end up winning
I don’t wanna be here all alone
Wondering what went wrong and why you’re gone
The one you leave behind when you move on

Bridge:
You know I can’t fix this by myself
I don’t know what’s wrong or how to help
If my love could be enough
To hold you tight when things get tough

I know that you’re leaving
As sure as my heart’s beating
There’s nothing I can say
To stop this helpless feeling
