“Oh do you know that I am waiting here … and a cold wind blows when he holds you near”

The first song on the CD and the beginning of the story that sets the tone, introduces the reoccurring characters and leaves you wondering at the end, what really is going to happen. The video gives you a view of this story of a lovers’ triangle and leaves the story open to different layers of interpretation. Through all of the turmoil created by an unfaithful husband, she somehow finds her strength to continue on. No matter what the eventual resolution is to the triangle, everyone suffers.

When the moon is high the night will fine
Hiding in your arms the man I call mine
Oh do you know that I am waiting here
And a cold wind blows when he holds you near

When the morning comes he’s home before dawn
Like nothing’s wrong I will hold on
Oh do you know that I am waiting here
And a cold wind blows when he holds you near

You think that I’m a fool and I don’t know
But, unlike you – mine is his home
So you should know that I am waiting here
A cold wind will blow when he holds me near
Yes, you should know that I am waiting here
A cold wind will blow when he holds me near

When he holds me near
A cold wind blows
A cold wind blows
