Sounds From Your Lips
There’s a face in all my meditations
There’s a price for hungry eyes
A wandering imagination
Needs a place to rest for the night
In six degrees of separation
I’ve been with you hundreds of times
Lonely days are far behind us
Dance the page of whispers and rhymes
Bare feet, kind eyes honey drips
Red wine rivers sway your hips
Wet and sandy
Words like candy
Sound from your lips
Prepare yourself for the colder winds
A fire place in an aching heart
Love as ancient as sun and moon
I hope someday soon we will start
