Earth Is Trembling

The world is changing
But is it a good thing
Faster faster
We can't keep up the pace
Can't stop blaming
Pointing with our fingers

What are we to do

Here's the problem that I see
Were choking all that breathes
and cutting down our trees
Such suffering and we look the other way
Drinking from the wells poisoned by our hate
The earth is trembling

Safe behind the lines we draw
Using all the energy for the next war
The Blessings came from upon high
Now all that rains are missiles in the sky

Tomorrow seems so far away
a sky scraper now
Where the children used to play
Gone the days of simplicity
And what was good for you
Was also good for me

Who's to say who's right or wrong
None of us are angels or here for very long
Our wisdom can shared for free
