Drover From The Outback

A song written about an old friend - Colin Campbell, a cattleman from the gulf country of Far North Queensland. We met in Cairns in the late 80's. He must have been in his mid to late 50's then. The last time I saw him was in 1997, not long before his death. His body was plain worn out. His wife, Pat, show me a photo of him riding a bronc at the Normanton Rodeo. Would have been a sight to see!
