Biography
If there’s one thing Nicki Bluhm loves, it’s Christmas. With Nicki joining both John Craigie and The Blind Boys of Alabama for holiday tour dates this December, she was inspired to record and release BUON NATALE, a limited-edition EP featuring two Christmas covers and three new originals, including the title track. Recorded both in Austin, TX at The Finishing School and in Nashville, TN at Cartoon Moon by engineer/producer Jesse Noah Wilson, the album kicks off with the holiday classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and ends with Stevie Wonder's "Someday at Christmas." Musicians on the album include Ken Coomer on drums, A.J. Croce on piano, Leroy Powell on guitar and vocals, Richard Millsap (Band of Heathens) on drums and Jesse Noah Wilson (Band of Heathens) playing bass and a variety of instruments.
