Nick Chandler and Delivered are thrilled to announce the release of their new single, “Never Did No Wanderin’,” available now on all digital and streaming platforms via Pinecastle Records. Originally featured as a folk tune in the beloved film A Mighty Wind, this fresh take reimagines the song as an upbeat, Bluegrass anthem, led by Chandler’s powerful, resonant vocals.

“‘Never Did No Wanderin’ caught my ear twenty years ago when I heard it as a folk song in the movie A Mighty Wind,” shares Nick Chandler. “I knew that, if done right, this song would make a great Bluegrass tune. I felt like now is the right time to release it. Written by Harry Shearer and Michael John McKean, who also acted in the movie, ‘Never Did No Wanderin’’ describes missing out on the sights and sounds this life has to offer. One of my favorite things about my job is arranging songs and being in the recording studio. I loved bringing this song to life and I really hope you enjoy this same ol’ tune, brand new, all over again.”

With Nick Chandler on mandolin and lead vocals, Gary Trivette on bass, Jake Burrows on banjo and Spencer Atkinson on guitar, the track is an immersive display of dynamic instrumentation and musical synergy. Driven by sharp mandolin riffs, steady bass lines, fast-paced banjo picking, and rhythmic guitar, this Bluegrass interpretation is as vibrant as it is skillfully arranged, showcasing the band’s technical skills.
