"Angels Stood By"sung by Paul Sceviour

Paul Sceviour was born in Botwood, Newfoundland. At an early age he entered the workforce by working at his grandfather's saw mill. He spent some time as a Salvation Army officer, and also spent over 17 years in the hospitality, customer service industry. He feels very fortunate to still be able to work and live in his hometown, along with his wife and daughter.
Paul spent much of his life playing music in The Salvation Army Church which he attended along with his parents, 1 brother and 4 sisters. From the early days of his first chord organ, to his present Yamaha PSR 3000, Paul has owned and played several keyboards. Paul's musical abilities include a wide range of instruments, such as; Tenor Saxophone, Accordion, Bass Guitar, etc. From the age of 15, Paul played in the Salvation Army brass band. Paul was also a member of a Christian musical group known as "Inspiration", which performed at many Christian venues around Newfoundland. Since 2001, he has taken leadership of the Botwood Salvation Army Senior Band, using his talents and abilities in the church.
