The Letter
I'm writing this letter, even though I'm not sure why.
Some things I need to tell you, that I can't keep left inside. So with this pen and paper, I think that I should try, to let the words flow like these tears I cry.

To the one who broke my heart more times than I can count.
To the one who picked me up then let me down and down and down.
To the one who made me laugh before he made me cry.
The one who made me love then said goodbye.

Why am I still fighting, and trying to hold on? Thinkin' about you, when it feels like you are done.
But my heart's still longing, and wants to call you mine.
Should I walk away for good this time?

To the one who broke my heart more times than I can count.
To the one who picked me up then let me down and down and down.
To the one who made me laugh before he made me cry.
The one who made me love then said goodbye.

So I'll take this letter, and tuck it far away.
With our other memories, and that's where it will stay.
Until my heart is ready, and there will come a day,
When I will love another, and you will be too late.

To the one who broke my heart more times than I can count.
To the one who picked me up then let me down and down and down.
To the one who made me laugh before he made me cry.
The one who made me love then said goodbye.
