Baggage
The message here on this song is that, yes, you can go back home. There are people there that still love and care for you. I put this concept together after hearing of how two friends had faired over the years in the world. They were very strong women who were fiercely proud of who they were and what they stood for. Years later, one had been abused and the other had giving up all the things that were so important to her in her youth. My Grandfather used to say "it's a mean old world." This song is in no way a judgement on my friends and whatever it was that led them to their state. It's just a statement that they are still loved here and they are not alone in this mean old world.

Mark Slaughter plays a wonderfully melodic guitar lead on this track that swells with emotion accenting this powerful song.
